Calc 2 FIrst Test
My very first test in calculus 2 I got ALL the answers right by that I mean, I
did the "rocket science." I worked through all the formulas, did all the
substitutions, and had the right symbols but let me back and fill in some
preliminaries for ya.
CALCULUS 1 is mostly algebraic manipulation of integration and differentiation
(inverses of each other) of various equations (formulations) that describe a
rule or observation. For instance, k=ma describes the stretchiness of a spring,
What is called kinetic energy or G=ma**2 is the formula for gravity.
By the way, k=ma and g=ma**2 is a form of Einstiens e=mc**2 famous equation!

?
CALCULUS 2 is CALCULUS 1 but with TRIGONOMETRY. trig when you do an integration,
the answer changes the "SIGN" from postive to negative.
The two main "identites" are:
SIN integrates /evalutes to to -COS(x) + C NEGATIVE
and
COS integrates to SIN(x) + C
Dont forget the "+ C" part either, tem are points off too, arggggggg
Anyway I had them reversed for every problem, as every
problem was trigonomic based, so this fucker gives me an "F" because I had the
SIGN of each reversed.
I just forgot which was which was which and he gave me an F. can you believe it?
When I tried to argue with him, you know what he said to me? We don't build
"upside down" bridges!!!!
I said, I am not building any bridges, everything I build is digital, 0's and
1's so to me, its just bullshit math
He didn't even give me any credit, not anything. I was so mad, but what could I
do...!!!!
One good thing that came out of it was, I NEVER, NEVER made THAT mistake again!
